Operating on VHF and UHF bands, it offers 256 channels across 50 zones, enhanced by a 1.5-inch monochrome display and a limited keypad for intuitive navigation and streamlined operation. The robust IP67-rated and MIL-STD 810H-compliant construction ensures reliability, while features like SINC+ noise suppression and up to 32-hour battery life make it a dependable communication tool.

The keypad on the R5 LKP adds significant advantages over the Non-Keypad (NKP) model. It allows quick access to a wider range of functions, such as channel selection, direct dialling, and text messaging, providing greater flexibility in communication.
