The Icom IP-M60 is a ground breaking hybrid IP transceiver, the first of its kind to integrate marine VHF and land-based LTE communication into one device. Designed for versatile use in maritime and onshore environments such as ports, rivers, and offshore locations, the IP-M60 excels in complex scenarios like coordinating rescue operations or managing yacht races. Its dual capability allows seamless communication over traditional VHF channels while also leveraging cellular networks for broader coverage.

 

The IP-M60 supports various innovative functions such as AquaQuake, which clears water from the speaker, and advanced communication features like status updates and vibration alerts for incoming calls and messages. Designed to enhance operational efficiency, the radio features a dedicated Channel 16 button for marine distress and safety, dualwatch and tri-watch functions for comprehensive monitoring, and automatic scanning capabilities.

  • The device offers a comprehensive suite of emergency and monitoring functions, ensuring users can respond swiftly in critical situations. These include a robust emergency call system, real-time status updates, and a last-four-minute audio recording feature.
